Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science that studies behavior to understand and use the best ways to motivate and teach each individual. Decades of research have proven that ABA methods are highly effective for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
Our Approach
With ABA instruction and therapy, persons can make significant improvements across the key areas of deficits that comprise a diagnosis of ASD: communication, social skills, and repetitive patterns of behavior. Additionally, ABA allows clinicians and caregivers to develop strategies that can reduce the presence of challenging behaviors that often create barriers to the daily life and interactions of a person with ASD.
What We Offer
At SSAC we offer wrap-around services for our clients which allows them to choose a program that fits around their busy schedules. These services include our centers (classroom setting) located in Quincy and Norwell, after school social skills groups at our centers or going to the homes. Our dedicated behavior therapists and board certified behavioral analysts work one or one with the child in the environment that is most convenient for them.
All SSAC services use ABA methodology and are covered by insurance or private pay. We pride ourselves on creating custom-fit plans to suit each child’s needs with the end goal of helping each individual and family reach their full potential.
