Counseling Services for Adults, TEENS and Children

Now in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts and Optum!

Our counseling services provide support to a variety of clients who are challenged by events in their life. Our therapists work with adults and children according to their needs using various treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Social Emotional Learning.

Adults that are experiencing stress, anxiety and/or depression will find a compassionate environment to work through their difficulties as they forge a path to healing. Counseling services are provided through a safe and secure online platform at convenient hours.

We also provide counseling for school-age children and teens that experience anxiety and depression and other mental health challenges. Our counseling services not only assist the child, but they also serve parents and other family members. We provide these services in person at our Norwell, Quincy and West Bridgewater centers. Each child receives individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other treatment modalities through a naturalistic play environment. Our licensed therapists address the needs of children with diagnoses of ASD, ADHD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Social Communication deficits, Depression, Executive Functioning Deficits or other social/emotional needs. It’s a problem-focused, short-term therapy approach.

Our counseling services integrate various therapeutic techniques in a naturalistic play-based environment. Services FOCUS ON A VARIETY OF LIFE SKILLS WITH A GOAL TO ACHIEVE THE GREATEST POSSIBLE CLIENT OUTCOMES

The strategies are taught and implemented to provide the children with the essential skills to navigate their social world. This includes school, the playground, and interactions with parents, siblings, and other family members. Cognitive behavioral therapy for children is primarily communication based and requires the child to be aware of thoughts and feelings.

Examples of these skills include:

  • increasing social awareness
  • practicing self-regulation
  • making responsible decisions
  • engaging in problem solving skills
  • practicing mindfulness and strategies to manage anxiety
  • and most importantly, building self-confidence!
