About Us
South Shore Autism Center (SSAC) is a warm, welcoming place where children with autism and Down syndrome receive high quality Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services, and where their families join a community of support, knowledge, and care. We achieve that mission through naturalistic ABA interventions in a bright, friendly environment.
We are committed to collaboration with school districts and other providers to ensure our clients’ services allow maximum participation in their communities and in their families’ day to day lives.
Classroom Setting
At our centers, children spend their days around other children supported by our highly trained, enthusiastic clinicians. Children are paired with a trained behavioral clinician who performs ABA services and monitors daily behavior. All children will have a supervising Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) responsible for creating a treatment plan, setting behavioral goals and tracking results.
We Support Our Clients In All Environments
At SSAC we offer wrap-around services for our clients which allows them to choose a program that fits around their busy schedules. These services include our centers (classroom setting) located in Quincy, Norwell and West Bridgewater after school social skills groups at our centers or going to the homes. Our dedicated behavior therapists and BCBAs work one or one with the child in the environment that is most convenient for them.
Parent Training
We recognize support for each family is very important and offer robust individual or group parent training sessions weekly. These training sessions take place in the home or online with one of our supervising clinicians.

At SSAC, we teach our clients using a naturalistic, child-led ABA approach where we focus on each child’s strengths and motivation, infusing our services with creativity and joy. Our clients achieve exceptional outcomes and develop skills and relationships to last a lifetime.
